Ingredients
Bread slices - 12Milk - 2 cups
Sugar - 2 cups
Water - 2 cups
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Safron - 3-4 strands
Khoa - 50 g
Pistachios - 1 tbsp
Almonds - 8-10
Ghee
Preparation Method
- Cut out the edges of bread and cut the slices into 4 pieces. Dry them for 6-8 hours. Remember to flip them midway
- Heat ghee in a pan and fry almonds and pistachios until light brown
- Fry the bread slices in ghee until golden brown
- Boil sugar and water in a vessel until sugar is about 1 string consistency
- Add bread slices and allow to soak
- Add milk and cardamon. Mix well and cook until oil separates
- Add Khoa and mix well
- Add fried almonds and pistachips
