Ingredients
Pudalankai (Snake Gourd) - 2 cups (1/2 cm cubes)Channa daal - 1/2 cup
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Coconut grated - 2 tbsp
Garlic - 2 cloves
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Hing - 1/4 tsp
Salt
Preparation method
- Pressure cook daal in 1 cup of water, salt and turmeric for 3 whistles
- Grind grated coconut to paste
- Heat oil in a pan and fry mustards until the pop
- Add garlic and fry for a min
- Add curry leaves and hing
- Add pudalankai and cook until well done
- Add granted coconut paste and cook for a couple of mins
- Add channa daal and cook until dry
