Baking powder - 1 tsp
Unsalted butter - 1/2 cup (room temp)
Sugar - 1 cup
Eggs - 5 (room temp)
Vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
Whole milk - 1 cup (Warm)
Sweetened condensed milk - 14 oz (1 can)
Evaporated milk - 12 oz (1 can)
Whole milk - 3/4 cup (room temp)
Heavy whipping cream - 1/2 cups
Sugar - 1 cup
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Baking pan 9x13in or two 9in round

All-purpose flour - 1 1/2 cupsBaking powder - 1 tsp
Unsalted butter - 1/2 cup (room temp)
Sugar - 1 cup
Eggs - 5 (room temp)
Vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
Whole milk - 1 cup (Warm)
Sweetened condensed milk - 14 oz (1 can)
Evaporated milk - 12 oz (1 can)
Whole milk - 3/4 cup (room temp)
Heavy whipping cream - 1/2 cups
Sugar - 1 cup
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Baking pan 9x13in or two 9in round
Method
- Sift flour and baking powder together
- Mix butter and 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy
- Add eggs one at a time and continue mixing
- Add flour to the mixture 1/4 cup at a time. Mix until blended well.
- Add vanilla and mix well
- Pour batter in pans
- Bake at 350 F. Takes 20-25 mins
- When done pierce cake several times to help with soaking. Allow to cool
Combine whole milk, evaporated milk and whole milk. Pour over cake and allow to soak - Whip whipping cream, the remaining 1 cup of the sugar, and the remaining 1 teaspoon vanilla together until it forms peaks. Spread over top of cake
