Pepper Daal

Serves: 2
Note: A good curry for rice

Ingredients

Toor daal - 1/2 cup
Pepper corns - 1/2 tsp
Urad daal - 1 tsp
Cumin - 1 tsp
Coconut - 1/3 cup

Method

Pressure cook daal in 2 cups of water
Roast pepper corns, urad dal and cumin in low heat. Allow to cool and grind to a fine powder
Add coconut and grind all to make a paste
Boil daal along with the paste for 10-12 minutes
Add salt to taske

Note: Add tadka (optional)
