Ingredients
Valakkai (raw banana) - 2 nos (chopped small cubes)
Onion - 1 medium (finely chopped)
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad daal - 2 tsp
Channa daal - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Green chili - 4-5 nos
Curry leaves
Salt to taste

Preparation method
- Grind ginger and green chilis into fine paste
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, urad daal and channa daal. Fry until light brown
- Add curry leaves and fry for a few seconds
- Add chopped onions and fry until light brown
- Add chopped valakkai, salt and turmeric. Add a little water and fry until valakkai 3/4 cooked
- Add ground paste. Cook until raw smell goes away
