Ingredients
Nendram palam/Plantain - 2
Maida/All purpose flour - 1/2 cup
Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
Fermented Idly Batter - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 3 tbsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Egg - 1 (remove yolk)
Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
Water
Oil
Preparation Method
Nendram palam/Plantain - 2

Preparation Method
- Mix maida, turmeric powder, baking soda, egg white, sugar, salt and idly batter together
- Add little water and mix well so that there are no lumps
- Add water while you continue to mix. Stop when batter has the consistency of idly batter
- Peel the plantain. Cut long thick slices of plantain
- Heat oil in a bowl to fry in low heat
- Dip cut raw banana in batter. Fry until light brown
