Ingredients
Toor daal - 1 tbspUrad daal - 1 tbsp
Red chili - 2
Green chili - 2
Corriander leaves - 3 cups
Tamarind - 1/2 lime size
Preparation method
- Add a little oil to pan. Toast toor daal, urad daal and red chili in low heat for 2-3 mins. Do not allow to burn. Keep aside to cool
- Add a little oil to pan. Fry green chili and coriander leaves in low heat for 3-4 mins. Do not allow to burn. Keep aside to cool
- Remove any seeds and veins from tamarind
- Grind urad, toor, red chili, green chili and coriander leaves with salt and tamarind
- Make a tadka of mustards, urad, red chili, curry leaves and hing and add to chutney
