Hariyali Egg Masala

Ingredients

Egg - 6 hard boiled
Onion - 3 medium (3-4 cups after chopping)
Green chilli - 8-10
Ginger - 2 inch piece
Garlic - 5-6 coves
Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
Mint leaves - 1/4 cup
Cloves - 1-2
Cinnamon stick - 1/2 inch

Black cardamom - 1
Bay leaves - 2

Preparation Method

  • Grind ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, mint leaves and green chilies into a fine paste
  • Grind onions into a fine paste
  • Heat 3-4 tbsp of oil
  • Fry cloves, cardamom, bay leaves and cinnamon sticks for a minute
  • Add paste. Fry paste for a couple for a few mins
  • Add onion paste to the pan. Fry in low heat until oil seperates
  • Add a cup of water and bring to boil. Add salt as per taste
  • Add halved boiled eggs.
  • Cook in medium heat until preferered consistency
