Serves 4
Ingredients
Cauliflower - 1 medium-sized cut into small florets (about 2 cups)
Pearl onion - 10 (thinly sliced)
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Red chilies - 2-3
Green chilies - 5-6 (slit lengthwise)
Crushed pepper corns - 8 - 10 (not powder)
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves - 8-10 leaves
Salt

For Cauliflower Egg Poriyal
Eggs - 2

Preparation method
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds. Fry until they splutter
- Add red chilies and fry until they are brown
- Add curry leaves and green chilies. Fry until a few minutes
- Add sliced onions and fry until light brown
- Add crushed pepper and fry for a minute or so
- Add cauliflower, grated coconut and turmeric powder. Fry for a few mins and add salt
- Fry in low heat until fully cooked
- In a different pan, heat some oil
- Break the eggs into the pan. Scramble until fully cooked
- When fully done and dry sprinkle some salt and fry for a minute
- Add to cauliflower poriyal and fry for 2-3 more minutes. Stir constantly
