Ingredients
Beef – 1 pound, cut into small pieces
Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
Onion – 1 big thinly sliced
Coconut oil - 1/4 cup
Curry leaves
Marinade
Small onions – 1/2 cup sliced
Chili powder – 1/2 tbsp
Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Ginger – 1/2 tbsp crushed
Garlic – 1/2 tbsp crushed
Coconut pieces/slices – 1/2 cup
Salt
Masala powder
Fennel – 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Cloves – 4-5
Star anise – 2
Preparation method
Ingredients

Coriander powder – 1 tbsp

Ginger – 1/2 tbsp crushed
Garlic – 1/2 tbsp crushed

Fennel – 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Cloves – 4-5
Star anise – 2
Preparation method
- Fry the Ingredients for masala powder and grind them to a powder. Keep aside
- Mix the powdered spices, ingredients for marinade and beef. Marinated for 1-2 hours
- Pressure cook the marinated beef adding half 1/4 cup of water till it is done (7-8 whistles). After turning the cooker off, leave the pressure cooker on stove till the pressure releases automatically
- After opening the cooker, cook uncovered in the cooker until dry
- Heat coconut oil in a pan and saute the onions until it becomes golden brown
- Add the cooked beef, Garam masala and curry leaves. Fry in low flame until cooked well
