Ingredients
Sesame seeds (white) - 1 cupCopra flakes - 1/4 cup
Red chilies - 4-5
Cumin seeds - 1.5 tbsp
Preparation
- Heat pan in med-low or low heat. Toast sesame seeds without burning. Remove from heat and allow to cool
- Heat pan in med-low or low heat. Toast copra flaks without burning (Stir often). Remove from heat and allow to cool
- Heat a few drops of coconut oil and toast red chili and cumin seeds. When aromatic, add salt and turn off heat (allowing any moisture in salt to evaporate)
- When cool, mix all ingredients and grind in bursts to make a semi-coarse powder
