Raw Banana Pulusu

Ingredients

Green Bananas - 2 nos (peel and chop)
Medium size onion - 1 chopped
Tamarind Paste - 1 tsp
Jaggery - 1 inch cube
Green chillies - 6
Red chilies - 2 (slit lengthwise)

Chana daal - 1 tbsp
Urd daal - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Chilly powder - 1 tsp

Oil - 2 tbsp

Curry leaves - 10-12 leaves

Preparation method
Heat oil in a vessel
Add chana daal, urad daal, mustard, cumin and red chillies. Fry for until mustard pops
Add onion and chilly. Fry until onion is translucent and light brown
Add banana pieces and turmeric powder. Fry for 2-3 mins
Add 2-3 cups of water, tamarind paste, salt and jaggery. Allow to boil and cook for 2-3 mins
Add 1/2 spoon chilly powder. Allow to boil, cook the banana and reduce
