Banana Fry

Serves: 2

Ingredients
Raw banana - 1 ... cut into half cm rounds
Onion - 1/2 (finely chopped)
Mustard - 1 tsp
Urad daal - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Chili powder - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Curry leaves - 7-8 leaves

Preparation Method

  • Boil the raw banana in 1/2 cup water with 1/2 tsp salt for 5-6 mins. Drain the water and keep the semi cooked banana aside
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard. When mustard splutters, lower the heat and add urad daal
  • When urad daal is golden brown, add curry leaves and onions
  • Fry onions until golden brown
  • Add cooked banana, coriander powder and chili powder. Cook well until masala and banana are fully fried and cooked
